Solar Earth was founded in July 2015 in Vancouver Canada by a group of scientists, engineers, roadway experts, and entrepreneurs. Our vision is to lead the path toward a Net Zero world by transforming everyday infrastructure into a source of Solar Earth power.

Alex Stamires

Alex has worked in corporate treasury, managing balance sheets, foreign exchange hedging, global cash, risk and credit for multinationals such as The Walt Disney Company. Activision Blizzard, Fluor Corporation, and International Rectifier Corporation. He invests in multi-family real estate and start-ups developing green technologies, and resides in Southern California.

Peter Bradshaw

Peter has been an internationally recognized leader in the mining industry from discovery to taking companies public. He is a company builder and founder of the Bradshaw Research Initiative for Minerals and Mining at the University of British Columbia. Peter was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame in 2015.

Stuart is a successful entrepreneur and the principal of Bryton Group, a land development company specializing in the hospitality industry. Bryton Group focuses on investing in communities to make them better places to live. Stuart has owned and operated various businesses and currently resides in Prince George, British Columbia.

Bikram has worked in the renewable energy/Solar industry for over 15 years. He is a technology entrepreneur and sales professional who has founded and led businesses to success during times of economic instability. Bikram excels at developing creative solutions while leading large cross-functional teams under pressure, exceeding stakeholder expectations, and achieving high sales revenues. Bikram has an MBA from the Sauder School of Business with a focus in Sustainability.

Meng is the former VP and Director of Research and Innovation at Thomson / Technicolor for Greater China. He has a further 10 years of intensive experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, including development in the areas of PV materials research, fabrication, and PV project deployment. Meng has lead 3 startups to successful exits.

Michael Whitwick

Dr. Michael Whitwick

CTO

Michael has over 18 years experience in R&D in novel semi-conductor materials and in bringing innovative technologies to market. He has engaged in R&D at UBC, EPFL, and several well-known clean-tech start-ups. Michael executes his crucial functions of leadership, resource management and mentoring of colleagues to successfully lead all research programs at Solar Earth.
